It's Party Time!
Now for the grand finale, what this week was all about--Nanna's 80th birthday party! We pretty much fooled her completely into thinking that a family celebration was planned for the Monday, so when we were all there at the Sunday brunch in Burlington, she was big time surprised! Here are some scenes from Mother Tucker's:
The food was great, so we all 'tucked in' but I'm not sure what was wrong with Kate's steak!
The balloons were a source of good fun:
It was great for the cousins to get together...but I think John and Jess were plotting activities for later!
Later, back at Jane's, we gave Nanna the chance to wish BIG on her birthday cake. What a great party!
The party even featured an appearance by (most of) the handy 'paua girls'! Sorry you didn't make it into this pic, Jessie.
